Sarah E. Murphy joined the law firm of Serotte, Reich & Wilson, LLP (SRW), as an associate in December 2007. Ms. Murphy focuses her practice in the following areas:
• Border representation
• Defense in Immigration Court
• Appellate practice
• Family-based immigration services
• Waivers of inadmissibility
• Naturalization

Prior to joining SRW, Ms. Murphy worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with both U.S. Customs and Border Protection as well as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Ms. Murphy earned her law degree from the University at Buffalo. She possesses a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York College at Brockport. While an undergraduate student, Ms. Murphy worked as an intern for New Scotland Yard in London, England and also worked as an undergraduate intern for the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office in Syracuse, New York.
Ms. Murphy is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Immigration law is a federal practice, however, which allows her to represent clients across the country and around the world. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
