As of June 1, 2012, USCIS has received approximately 55,600 H-1B visa petitions for this year’s H-1B visa cap. The annual numerical limit on H-1B visa numbers is 65,000. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has provided an update on this year’s H-1B visa cap. As of May 25th, 2012, it has received approximately 48,400 H-1B visa petitions.
