L-1A Approved by USCIS California Service Center for Pakistani National
June 28th, 2013 by SRW Lawyers
Last month, our firm had submitted a detailed and comprehensive packet on behalf of our Client, a citizen of Pakistan, establishing his eligibility for L-1A status as an Executive for a New Office. In Pakistan, our Client owns and operates a company with almost a dozen employees and handled managerial and executive duties on its behalf. Wanting to expand into the U.S. market, our Client created a new business enterprise (an LLC) and purchased two existing regional pizza franchise locations. After filing the L-1A petition with USCIS under Premium Processing, we received an eight (8) page Request for Evidence (RFE) requesting additional evidence (including, unfortunately, evidence which had previously been submitted). After brainstorming internally within our office, and consulting and reviewing the RFE with our client, we came up with a response strategy. Once we submitted the RFE Response, our Client’s L-1A was approved by the USCIS California Service Center within 3 days of our response. Our Client is now in the process of applying for an L-1A visa at the U.S. Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan.
