New Process Begins for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waivers

Beginning today, certain visa applicants who are the immediate relatives of US citizens and who are seeking a waiver of inadmissibility only for unlawful presence can start applying for provisional unlawful presence waivers through a new process. This new process will allow individuals to apply for a provisional unlawful presence waiver before departing the U.S. for their immigrant visa interview abroad.
