USCIS Has Completed H-1B Lottery Selection Process

USCIS announced that they received about 172,500 H-1B petitions during the filing period. Today they completed the lottery process to select enough petitions to meet the general category cap of 65,000 and the advance degree exemption cap of 20,000. USCIS will reject and return cap-subject petitions along with the filing fees that were not randomly selected.
